Good information enables us to make the best possible decisions, both professionally and personally. It is strategically important. However, with the seven stages of information (from oral transmission to artificial intelligence) and the doubling of data produced on Earth, more or less following Moore's Law, discernment is essential to navigate this complex landscape. We live in a VUCA or BANI world, meaning a complex and ambiguous one where we must act by extrapolating certain hypotheses and forging connections between diverse fields of knowledge.
We must redefine our relationship with information, the fuel of the 21st century. It is crucial to understand the foundations of great civilizations and why they declined. What will the world look like in 50 years? What will be the role of France and Europe? What impact will the digital revolution and AI have on our societies? What new power dynamics will emerge related to data and digital platforms?
