Guided tour of the Maritime Museum

The EVENTS/CULTURE commission invites you to take part in a guided tour of the Maritime Museum (at Trocadéro): 17 Pl. du Trocadéro et du 11 Novembre, 75116 Paris.      

Come and discover this national maritime museum which comes from a collection offered to King Louis XV by Henri Louis Duhamel du Monceau installed at the Louvre from 1752 to 1793, then from 1827 to 1939.

The Maritime Museum in Paris preserves 30,000 objects and works of art, including most of the series Views of the Ports of France by Joseph Vernet, figureheads, as well as 2,822 models of ships from all periods , notably sailing warships from the 17th century, 18th century and 19th century.

This visit will take place on October 3, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. and will last 1 hour 30 minutes.

You will be able to register online between August 30 and September 30, 2024.
