Feedback’ dinner with Yani Meziane (PGS 2020) - Topic: Data Science & Machine Learning (Event reserved for students of the school)

Yani MEZIANE (PGS GOL 2020) is also a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie (ENSG 2018, Reservoir Engineering), and also holds Masters degrees in Economics from the University of Lorraine and in Applied Mathematics from the University of Lyon 1. He also has a DevOps Engineering diploma obtained through continuing education (RNCP).

At 30, Yani has had a remarkable career. Currently working for Inetum in the Consulting division as a Data Scientist/Energy Engineer, he has had a number of assignments, notably with TotalEnergies, IFPEN and ENGIE in the field of Geosciences and Data (Data Analysis and Statistics, Data Science, Data Management, Machine Learning, Data Engineering Project Manager and DevOps/Data Architecture) and more broadly in the energy sector.

He also teaches ‘Data Science & Machine Learning’ at the IFP School and in several companies via IFP Training.

He will be discussing his rich and varied experience with current students over a dinner organised by the Alumni Association in one of Montmartre's fine restaurants.

The evening's programme included questions and discussions on all aspects of an unusual career.
