Electric vehicle charging and the user experience
The performance of totally electric cars (BEVs) is progressing rapidly. They already stand out for their torque and near-sporty acceleration. Driving them, especially in urban environments, is a real pleasure, and their drivers are generally enthusiastic about their qualities.
Range remains their weakness. Taking advantage of advances in battery technology, the latest models offer ranges of 400km or more. Not bad! But the real problem arises when it comes to recharging. With the exception of home/work journeys with charging points on both sides, long-distance journeys still require drivers to organize their logistics in a special way. You have to plan your itinerary around the charging stations, and unpleasant surprises (unusable stations, volatile tariffs, waiting times...) are all part of the plan. No one doubts that the industry will get organized. But the complexity of the subject and the large number of players involved raise many questions.
We will be pleased to welcome three speakers to share their analysis of the sector:
- Christelle VERSTRAETEN : CHARGEPOINT - Senior Director
- Julien TOUATI : MERIDIAM - Corporate Development Director
- Ehsan EMAMI : QOVOLTIS - CEO
